In this role you will:
- Perform implant and instrument design work.
- Actively participate on, and sometimes lead, a multifunctional team to advance assigned projects through the design/development process and ultimately through launch, into the market.
- Manage the development efforts for new, novel implants enabled by robotic capabilities.
Qualifications/Work Experience: • Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical or Biomedical focus).
- Master's degree, fluent in other languages a plus.
- 3+ years of product design experience in the medical device industry or equivalent.
- Familiarity with design controls with in a regulated industry.
- Prior work experience in the medical device industry.
- Self-starters, have a hands-on approach and capability to work independently.
- Experience with a parametric CAD design package. PRO E preferred.
Education and/or Special Training: • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical or Biomedical focus).
- Master’s degree, fluent in other languages a plus.
Percent Travel Required: 15%
